Peace be still

In the wilderness,

Wrestling with vicious beasts,

As the strength evaporates,

The beasts looks insurmountable,

Almost losing the battle,

You cry out your last,

Then the still small voice strikes your ears, peace be still.

Sometimes the roaring waters becomes wilder than the roaring lions,

Of course swifter are they than the cheetahs and eagles.

Reigning more havoc like the infamous tsunami,

Then surrender seems like the only option,

Then allover a sudden, from the midst of the storm,

A still small voice says, peace be still.

Life is all about fighting,

Punches thrown left, right and centre,

The adversaries Sometimes stronger,

With all hope gone,

At the back of your mind knowing the crown is only for the victor,

Then the still small voice comes through,

Peace be still.
